 Join us for a six-week journey exploring grief, love, surrender, and hope in the light of God’s eternal presence.

Pastor Erin Erickson leads this sermon series — “All Things Pertaining to Death” — beginning September 28th and going through All Saint’s Day, November 2nd.

All of us live with the reality of death, yet our culture often avoids talking about it. In this six-week series, we will courageously face what is often denied — exploring grief, love, surrender, companionship, sacred witness, and resurrection hope. Drawing on Scripture, wisdom from Christian mystics and inter-spiritual voices, music both sacred and secular, and symbolic altar practices, we will discover together how acknowledging death can actually deepen our love of life. Join us as we learn to live more fully, grieve more tenderly, and trust more deeply in the God who holds us in life and in death.

Services are at First Congregational UCC in Rapid City at 1200 Clark Street. We begin our service at 9:30 AM and follow with a time of coffee, treats, and fellowship at 10:30 AM.
